**Project Supervision**I am supervising the project "An Unusual Field" at the University of Bristol. In this project the students studied fields of Laurent series as models for the fields of p-adic numbers. The Laurent series construction can be iterated, and we explored a certain non-commutativity in this construction, as well as arithmetic analogues.

## Academic Year 2015 - 2016

__Topics in Modern Geometry__In autumn 2015 I lectured the topology component of the year 3/4 module "Topics in Modern Geometry" at the University of Bristol.

__Project Supervision__- I supervised the fourth year project "Zeta Functions of Rings" at the University of Bristol. In this project the student explored how analytic properties of the zeta function reflect algebraic properties of the ring. In particular, there was a focus on rings arising from arithmetic and geometry.
- In autumn 2015 I supervised several short projects with the titles "p-adic numbers and fractals" and "Zariski topology".

- Postgraduate demonstrator at the University of Nottingham (2010 - 2014);
- Undergraduate marker at the University of Durham (2009 - 2010).
